Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
My military service got me on the right track to get to this point. I was a leader from Trainee to DOS, group leader, element leader, rope, shift leader, and facility manager. I never saw any responsibility past an E5 standpoint. Upon my exit from Active Duty I worked overseas as a contractor and was put into real leadership positions where you don't have an E-7 there to catch you if you fall. I flourished as a leader with my military training to get the job done regardless of obstacles.
