I spent 4 years active and 2 in reserve. Most of my active duty was aboard a carrier where I had to learn to work with others from varying backgrounds, religions, etc. People are all packaged differently and you learn to not judge by the packaging but by the content! That has helped us in looking at new hires and who we choose as customers.
